Pathaan Day 5 Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan Movie Concludes The Long Weekend With 269 Cr. Gross

With the success of his most recent film, Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan has many reasons to be happy. The movie had a fantastic opening weekend both in India and abroad. According to the most recent reports, it made 58 cr. on Sunday.

 
According to a Box Office India report, Pathaan made 58 cr. rupees in Hindi and an additional 2 cr. with its dubbed Telugu and Tamil versions. This brings the total from the first long weekend to 269 cr. The movie came out last Wednesday, January 25.
 
Taran Adarsh, a film industry expert, tweeted a partial Sunday sales breakdown on Sunday night. he noted. For five days, Ramesh Bala even shared statistics from around the world. “#Pathaan 5 days WW Gross expected to be in the range of ₹ 550 Crs,” he tweeted. Ramesh Bala also said that Pathaan was the number two opener in both New Zealand and Australia.
 
Here is a breakdown of Pathaan's weekend sales in Hindi from India: Wednesday: 55 cr. Thursday: 68 cr. Friday: 31.5 cr. Saturday: 51 cr. Sunday: 58 cr.
 
Pathaan, which also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, is helmed by Siddharth Anand. Siddharth described how Pathaan scripted history by shattering all box office records. "Scripting history.
 
Everyone wants it, but one can't plan it. It just happens. And when it does, it's actually a very humbling experience. I'm feeling incredibly overwhelmed right now and inspired to get back on the film set and try and create something really special for audiences again. That's my state of mind."
 
He added, "With War and now Pathaan, we, the Hindi film industry have given films that have pan India appeal. I have always believed that cinema has no language. Cinema is about an emotion and if it connects with people, it can really go to dizzying heights and that's what's happening with Pathaan".
