Vishnu Vishal's Gatta Kusthi Starts Well In Box Office

Fans have been wowed by Vishnu Vishal's excellent script choices, and his upcoming slate is intriguing. Vishnu Vishal's Chella Ayyavu directed Tamil-Telugu bilingual film "Gatta Kusthi" released on theatres today. The movie "Gatta Kusthi" is based on the Kusthi (wrestling) sport. Gatta Kusthi's first day collection stands between 5 and 6 crores. It is a good start for the movie, but not a great one. The film must gain momentum over Saturday and Sunday in order to have a respectable weekend. Gatta Kusthi was released in 400 Tamil Nadu screens and 250 Andhra Pradesh / Telangana screens. The total budget of the film is around 25 crores.

In collaboration with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, Vishnu Vishal is producing the film under the Vishnu Vishal Studioz and RT Teamworks labels. After FIR, this is Vishnu Vishal's second consecutive partnership with Ravi Teja. In the film, Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the lead role.

The last time Vishnu Vishal appeared on a major motion picture screen was in "F.I.R." It was a Manu Anand-directed terrorism drama.

The movie debuted to enormous box office success and became the biggest hit of the year.
