Amar Arshi sang the original version of the Kala Chashma song, which was written by Prem Hardeep and Kam Dhillon. But Amrik Singh Shera wrote the words to this song when he was only 15 years old.
Amrik approached numerous singers for this song when he was in the ninth standard and wrote it. At a gathering in England, singer Amar Arshi sang that song. That song was released by a firm, and it quickly became very popular. The song was later distributed in Punjab by a Chandigarh-based company, which is how it gained widespread popularity. Baar Baar Dekho's creators updated this song for their movie in 2016. Due to its high recall value, unique dance moves, and hottie Katrina Kaif, the remake also became a tremendous success.
As per a report, Amrik was paid Rs 11,000 for the song when he signed the agreement and wasn't even aware that his song would make it to a movie.
