A Quiet Place 2 postponed release due to Coronavirus fear

The 2018 film A Quiet Place starred actor John Krasinski who shot to fame for his role in the US version of The Office. His co-star in the film was Emily Blunt, known for her role in The Devil Wears Prada. Since the release of the first film, fans have eagerly awaited its sequel.

A Quiet Place 2 was set to hit theatres in the UK on March 20. But, its release got postponed amid the outbreak of Coronavirus.
John Krasinski, who also directed the sequel, posted a message on his Instagram. It said. “ One of the things I'm most proud of is that people have said our movie is one you have to see all together. Well, due to the ever-changing circumstances of what's going on in the world around us, now is clearly not the right time to do that. As insanely excited as we are for all of you to see this movie... I'm gonna wait to release the film till we CAN all see it together! So here's to our group movie date! See you soon!"
But, it seems unlikely that the film will get to release in theatres soon. The UK currently faces the possibility of a lockdown similar to the one in Italy.
Hence, it seems that fans took to social media and expressed that the film gets released on a streaming platform. Many wish that A Quiet Place 2 be streamed on Netflix or Hulu. People are even ready to pay for it.
A Quiet Place is already on Netflix and is also called one of the scariest horror films on the platform. We hope that the sequel to the film also gets a release on a streaming platform.
