A Quiet Place Part II: John Krasinski puts wife Emily Blunt in a dangerous stunt almost jeopardizing his marriage

A Quiet Place (2018) by John Krasinski turned into a hit. Grossing over $300 million worldwide. This immediately called for a sequel. That is how we now have A Quiet Place Part II. Director and co-writer John Krasinski who also played the main lead in Part I opposite his real-life wife, Emily Blunt shares some of his experience directing the second part. He informed how one of the stunts in the film almost put his marriage to Blunt at major risk.

Krasinski and Blunt are one of the most famous and beloved couples of Hollywood. Fans also want them to play Reed Richards and Sue Storm in the new version of the popular comic Fantastic Four. The story of A Quiet Place follows a couple of Evelyn and Lee Abbott. They try to raise their children in a post-apocalyptic world overtaken by aliens with heightened hearing.

A Quiet Place Part II continues Evelyn Abbott trying to keep her children safe without her husband. They leave the sanctuary and go out to collect more survivors. The film follows their journey. There is some new exciting addition to the cast. Celebrities like Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou will share the same screen. Krasinski will also join in on a cameo appearance.

The stunt that Krasinski talks about is included in the first trailer. He informed how it was a very risky stunt. In the scene, Blunt has to drive back to avoid slamming into a bus. No doubt the hubby hears some stern words for putting her in a dangerous position.

He said "Emily's [stunt] is so real. I think I put my marriage on the line when I put her in the car. That's true. Like when I was explaining to her on set all the things that were going to happen and I said, ‘You're going to hit this stunt man, that car is going to come three feet from you and then this bus is actually going to clock at 40 miles an hour,' her face fell and she went, ‘But not really.’ And I went, ‘No, no, the bus is coming at you at 40 miles.’ That's a real bus, and that bus hits that car and all that is totally real."

Regardless, Krasinski and Blunt work exceptionally well together. A Quiet Place Part II has received positive reactions and reviews. Its trailer has created much hype. Treated as a good thriller.
