Aamir Khan was spotted at a special screening of Kajol's film Salaam Venky. Interacting with media, Aamir said he intends to come back to acting after a year. This is an aftermath of the debacle of his last film Laal Singh Chaddha.
The actor came on the red carpet sporting a casual appearance and his grey hairdo. The actor appreciated Vishal Jethwa and Kajol for their work on the Revathy-directed film. He even stated that he will return to acting after a year.
Aamir added while speaking on the red carpet, “I am not doing anything. For the last many years, I have been working continuously so right now I want to spend some time with my family. Paani foundation ka bhi kaam chal rha hai, aur bhi thoda kaam chal rha hai, so I will come back to acting after a year. You can see me in this small role.”
He continued, complimenting Kajol and Vishal's performances, “Every artist has done such a good job Kajol and Vishal. Each and every actor has done so well. I am very happy and proud to be part of this film. I am glad Revathy gave me that opportunity.”
Salaam Venky is directed by Revathy and presented by Connekkt Media. It is set to be released in theatres on December 9, 2022. It is created by Suraj Singh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja under the names BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios.
Meanwhile, Aamir Khan will produce the Hindi version of Campeones, a Spanish film. The actor was meant to play the lead role in the movie, but after Laal Singh Chaddha's box office failure, it appears that the project's direction has changed. The cast is currently under hunt.
