Aamir Khan will return to the big screen with his upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha. The film, directed by Advait Chandan, will release in theatres on August 11 in multiple languages. Days ahead of the release, Twitter users trended Boyctt Laal Singh Chaddha on Twitter. Aamir Khan recently saw the trend and spoke about the hatred towards his films before the release. In his interaction with the media, Aamir added that people have a feeling that he doesn't like India, which is untrue.
"Yes, I feel sad. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their heart, they believe that I am someone who doesn't like India. In their hearts they believe, but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That's not the case. Please don't boycott my film. Please watch my film," said Aamir.
Laal Singh Chaddhs is the official Hindi remake of Hollywood film, Forrest Gump, feauring Tom Hanks. Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya have been roped in to play important roles in the film.
