Aamir claimed that they avoided a conflict with KGF: Chapter 2, which starred Yash in the lead role, thanks to the postponement of the movie's post-production. "I recall the enthusiasm that surrounded the impending release of KGF 2 among my own friends and the Hindi-speaking public. On that day, Laal Singh Chaddha was slated for release. Red Chillies was spending some time on the VFX, fortunately for us, so we were rescued! If not, we would have brought KGF 2 with us,” Aamir Khan told the media.
