Jungle Cry, a biopic on Rugby coach Rudraksh Jena's starring Abhay Deol and produced by Shabbir Boxwala and Prashant Shah. Abhay Deol completes his shooting for Jungle Cry. Biopics on sports and sports personalities always grabs amazing attention. MSDhoni, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Mary Kom and etc are the classic examples.
 
Producer Shabbir Boxwala through his Instagram account posted the first look of Jungle Cry on the occasion of Republic Day 'This is the 66th Republic Day for the world’s largest democracy India…We the team of the film JUNGLE CRY are proud to bring you soon a story of our country’s Tribal Kids achievement in the field of sports by winning the world Rugby junior cup in England in 2007 by training in just flat 4 months without any prior knowledge of the game.'
 
Abhay Deol will be playing the role of rugby coach Rudraksh Jena. Coming to the plot, the kids were football players who only had four months to learn rugby. With their determination, they went onto to win the World Cup in the UK. It is an underdog story, that was truly inspiring and fascinated to be part of this film. They want everyone to know the story. They also have British footballer Paul Walsh and Dr Achyuta Samanta, who run Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, who have been on board with them.
 
Jungle Cry is in the post productions stage. Makers also have plans to get into Cannes Film Festival 2019 in March.
 
Regarding the coach Rudraksh Jena who was from Bhubaneshwar who trained the rugby team of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences. He was popular and attained immense fame after the team clinching International School Rugby Tournament in London in 2007 under his assistance. The story also grabbed the nation's attention, also the team which involves the tribal boys who hail from places like Jharkhand, Bhubaneshwar, Mayurbhanj.
