Mastis is one of the web series currently streaming on the Aha App right now. Ajay Bhuyan is the director of the series and Krish Jagarlamudi is the producer and writer for the same. Navdeep, Raja Chembolu, Bindu Madhavi, Chandini Chowdary and Hebah Patel are the part of the project. The series opened to mixed response upon the release, from the audiences.
One of the online portals came up with an article on this web series. They highlighted that the series had leading ladies who are not getting the offers in mainstream movies. They put the title for the article as, "B Grade heroines get new lifelines" and it did not go well with the film's cast. Both Navdeep and Chandini Chowdary expressed their displeasure for the same.
Navdeep replied sarcastically to the article, saying, "wow what an A grade article sir!!"
Chandini Chowdary quoted the article and wrote, "So this is what media & film journalism has stooped down to? Do you guys even know what B grade means? You should be ashamed of yourself. Absolutely disgusting. It’s because of people like you women are shit scared to get into the industry despite having talent. Shameful!"
