Malayalam actor Siddique receives UAE Golden Visa. The actor himself was informed about the receipt of the visa through Facebook. The actor has also shared a picture of him accepting a visa in an Arabic dress. Siddique wrote on Facebook that he did not want to and did not think he would get a golden visa.
“I also got a golden visa. This recognition is not something I coveted or wanted at all. The thought was that we were not going to get any of this. This was the wish of my friend Sameer. The recognition I got as an actor. Thanks to the UAE Government. Thanks to everyone who raised me;” Siddique wrote on Facebook.
Before Siddique, many Malayalam actors had received Golden Visas. Malayalam legends Mammootty and Mohanlal were the first people to receive a Golden Visa. They are the first Malayalam actors to receive a Golden Visa, a long-stay visa from the UAE. Both are issued visas for 10 years. In 2020, Mohanlal had set up his own house in Dubai.
Actress Meera Jasmine was the last one to receive a golden visa. Earlier, Dulquer Salman, Prithviraj, Asif Ali, and Asha Sarath had also obtained visas.
The Golden Visa is valid for ten years. The Golden Visa is awarded by the UAE Government in recognition of talented individuals in various fields.
