Popular Malayalam actors Nivin Pauly and Sunny Wayne have teamed up for a new film. Titled Padavettu, this movie features Nivin as the lead hero and Sunny will be bankrolling it. Debutante Liju Krishna is helming the project. Sunny says that it was his quest for good films that landed him with Padavettu.
The actor-turned-producer also revealed many other details on his social media page. He said it is extremely satisfying to be a part of this strong and creative project. This is Sunny's second production venture. He first bankrolled a theatre drama called Just Before The Death. Even that stage-play got directed by Liju Krishna. Sunny also revealed that Nivin is playing a very challenging character in Padavettu. He restrained himself from revealing more details of the film. According to the sources, the film runs on different timelines. We hear that Nivin will be donning two contrasting looks in the movie. Aditi Balan of Aruvi fame is playing the female lead in it. Acclaimed actress Manju Warrier is essaying an extended cameo. Govind Vasantha of 96 fame is composing the music of this film.
Nivin was last seen in the film Moothon, directed by Geetu Mohandas. He got a lot of acclaims for his role in the movie. His next release will be Thuramukham, which is being directed by Rajeev Ravi. Indrajith Sukumaran, Biju Menon and Joju George are playing the other pivotal roles in it. The makers are planning to release it in October this year.
