On Monday actor Ajay Devgn took to Instagram to share various pictures from his 2012 hit comedy film Bol Bachchan. On the film's 8th anniversary Ajay Devgn tagged Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan and celebrated the film's release. Ajay wrote, "When the Bachchans speak, I listen(especially Amitji) #8YearsOfBolBachchan @SrBachchan @juniorbachchan #RohitShetty." Ajay, however, forgot to mention his other co-stars from the film. Prachi Desai for one isn't letting Ajay get away with the unfair treatment.
Taking to social media Prachi Desai wrote, Hey @ajaydevgn looks like you forgot to mention the rest of us aka #Asin @Krushna_KAS @apshaha #Asrani Ji #NeerajVohra Ji #JeetuVerma, yours truly everyone involved in making this baller of a film. #8YearsOfBolBachchan." Bol Bachchan also starred Asin, Krushna Abhishek, Archana Puran Singh, Asrani, Neeraj Vohra, Jeetu Verma in various important roles.
Other fans of Prachi Desai quickly took to Twitter to stand in solidarity with Desai's remark. One user wrote, "Perfect reply. I pity the mindset of those people who are accusing her of attention. She was an actress in the film. The least she can expect is some credibility." Another said, "You go, girl, proud of you...tell 'em off. You are a star and you were fantastic in that movie. You also put so much effort as the others." The reply seems more appropriate at the current time when discussions surrounding nepotism in Bollywood are at an all-time high.
Rohit Shetty directed Bol Bachchan in 2012. The film was inspired by Hrishikesh Mukherjee's 1979 hit comedy film Gol Maal.
