Pragathi is a popular supporting actress in the South Indian film industry. In a career spanning over two and a half decades, she has acted in various super hit films across multiple languages. Recently, she attended an interview hosted by a popular Telugu Youtube channel. In this interaction, Pragathi revealed that once a popular comedian misbehaved with her and she has given a strong warning to him as well.
When asked whether this rumor is true, Pragathi said it was true. Explaining the incident, she said, "The comedian was a good person. He was also good to me for many years. But all of a sudden, I found his behavior as wrong. I couldn't take his vulgar and cheap words. Immediately, I took him to the caravan and asked whether my body language looked inviting to him? He said no. Then I told him to stop using these cheap words in front of me."

Pragathi made her screen debut with the 1994 Tamil film Veetla Visheshanga. During her career as a lead actress, Pragathi predominantly acted in the Tamil and Malayalam films. After her comeback as a supporting actress, she started acting more in Telugu films. She was last seen in the 2019 film 90 ML. This film featured Kartikeya Gummakonda and Neha Solanki in the lead roles. Pragathi also has a few interesting projects in the future.
