As the government re-opened the domestic flights, lots of people are traveling to and fro. Among them was actress Radhika Madan. Madan travelled to Delhi from Mumbai and isolated herself for 14 years as a precautionary measure. She compared her two-week isolation, away from her family, to Lord Rama’s 14-year exile. She was happy to get reunited with her mom. She shared pictures of her getting squishy hug and a kiss from her mother, Neeru Madan.
She captioned the post saying, "14 din ke vanvaas ke baad #selfquarantine ends. #maa.” her fans showered her with love in the comment section. Awww! Soo Cutee. love both of you,” one wrote. “You’re so sweet,” another commented. Last month, she uploaded a picture of her in all the safety gear such as mask, gloves and a face shield in the airport. She captioned it saying, "Mai aa rahi hu Maa (I am coming, mother)... #homebound #travelsafe #airportlook,”
She also revealed her airport experience saying it was ‘a scene out of an apocalyptic film'. She said, “They did temperature checks, and ensured there was zero physical contact — we had to show our IDs and boarding passes through a glass shield; there were glass barriers at baggage counters too. They boarded and de-boarded us sequentially, two rows at a time. I avoided using the washrooms. I was cautious, but not scared.”
Madan was last scene in Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium. The run of the film got cut short due to the lockdown. She has appeared in lead role in Colors TV’s popular show Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi. She also participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8. She has worked in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha.
