Adah Sharma Claims That During Her Time At School, She Was 'Punished For Having Laughing Fits' For No Good Reason

The event of Teacher's Day in 2022 was special to everyone, from prominent sports figures to Bollywood actors. Some people recognized their instructors while others uploaded posts to send good wishes. Actress Adah Sharma was one of many people who took a blast from the past and revealed some fewer occurrences from her time in school.

Adah Sharma said that she was disciplined by her teachers "primarily for having giggling fits for no reason" in an interview with Mid-Day on Teacher's Day 2022. The actress responded when asked about her favorite teacher. “My paati (grandmother) has always been my favorite teacher. She is a headmistress in a school and also teaches History and Geography. Since I would study (at) the last minute, she would summarise the whole chapter for me the day before the exam!”

The 1920 actor was queried if there was any punishment in school that he would recall for the rest of his life as the talk went on. She stated in response that“we had to wear ribbons to school on our plaits and if we didn't, we would get a remark in the school calendar book. I got this huge one-meter ribbon”.

She further added “Whoever used to forget to wear the ribbons, I would cut from that one-meter-long ribbon and would give them. When the teachers found out, they made me wear ‘sutli’ (rope) on my head as a punishment for a week! That became a fashion statement then and everyone started wearing rope on their braids”. On the career front, the 30-year-old actor will next appear in Vishal Pandya's film Padaav. In the next movie, Sharma will play a police officer.
