A conversation about “Bringing Real Life to Reel Life” took place during the International film festival of India yesterday where producer Prakash Jha, Vikramjit Roy, and actor Adil Hussain took part. During the conversation, both shared some interesting insights into the film.
“I observe everything around me and gradually things unfold, stories emerge & characters form. As soon as I have a clear idea of the story, I am excited to share it.” shared the producer.
“Acting is a co-creation with the director but by reading the script multiple times, the character sinks into your system and you understand why the character behaves the way he does.” shared Adil Hussain about the same.
Later Adil Hussain participated in an interesting session. "I just came out of a conversation on acting and the name of the session was, The art of not acting. It's an important initiative for the simple reason that the skills, especially in the art are a difficult sort of thing to catch hold of. Bringing people from different crafts of filmmaking to explain the process is not easy to do it. I enjoyed answering some fantastic questions during the session and I had a great time. I think this initiative should continue. I think this could happen in two-tier cities as well year-long than once a year." shared Adil about a session he was part of.
