A while back, it was revealed that director-turned-choreographer Bosco Martis will be helming the musical Rocket Gang. The movie, which stars Aditya Seal, Nikita Dutta, and others, is scheduled to hit theatres on November 11 of this year. Though the project has yet to hit theatres, it was discovered that actor Ranbir Kapoor from the Brahmastra series will make a very special cameo appearance in the movie.
A source connected to the production confirms the news, saying, “Yes, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen making a cameo in Rocket Gang. But unlike conventional guest appearances, the Kapoor lad will be seen in a special dance number in the film.” Ask for more details and the source continues, “Bosco developed a very close rapport with Ranbir Kapoor while choreographing him for Luv Ranjan’s film with Shraddha Kapoor. Since then the two have been in touch. So when Bosco was directing Rocket Gang he requested Ranbir to make a special appearance in the film. Knowing Ranbir, the actor can never turn down a friend, and readily agreed to feature in the special dance number.”
After a while, it will be entertaining to witness Ranbir Kapoor in a musical, although the original release date for Rocket Gang was 2021. However, because of Covid, the movie's debut was ultimately postponed until November 2022.
