Adnan Sami elated with Padma Shri honour

Adnan Sami is one of the popular singers in India who has rendered his vocals for many hit tracks in multiple audiences. The Telugu audience will recognize him for the songs like 'Ye Jilla', 'Boogolamantha', and 'O Madhu.' Adnan was a Pakistani by birth but he got Indian citizenship a few years back. He is now the official citizen of our country. Adnan always thanks to the government of India for giving him citizenship without any political thoughts.

Yesterday, the Government of India declared the prestigious Padma Awards for this year. Adnan has got conferred with the fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri, by the government. The singer is on cloud nine with this announcement and took on Twitter to express his happiness. "The greatest moment for any Artiste is to be appreciated & recognized by his/her government. I am overwhelmed with infinite gratitude for being honored with the ‘Padma Shri’ by the Government of India. It has been a 34 years musical journey.. ‘Bohot Shukriya’!! #PadmaAwards" tweeted Adnan. Padma Awards will get presented sometime during the March or April months of this year. Popular Bollywood celebrities Kangana Ranaut, Karan Johar, and Ekta Kapoor also got selected for the Padma Shri honor.
