After 'Antahpuram', Ilaiyaraaja works with Krishna Vamsi for 'Rangamarthanda'

Ilaiyaraaja is one of the successful music directors in the Indian movie industry who enjoys legendary status. Over a thousand movies to his credit as a music director, Ilaiyaraaja is still a successful composer in India, especially the Kollywood industry. The music director teamed up with a lot of young directors in recent times.

Ilaiayaraaja finally signed a straight Telugu movie after a long time. The Isai Gnani will compose the music for director Krishna Vamsi's next movie Rangamarthanda. Rangamarthanda is the official remake of the Marathi hit film Natasamrat, directed by popular actor Mahesh Manjrekar. Prakash Raj reprises the role of Nana Patekar in the film and Ramya Krishnan plays his wife in the Telugu remake. Vamsee Chanaganti who began his second innings recently with Gaddalakonda Ganesh will be playing a crucial role in the movie too.
Today, Prakash Raj and Krishna Vamsi met Ilaiyaraaja and confirmed that the legendary music director is on board to score the music for Rangamarthanda. Krishna Vamsi took to Twitter to confirm the news. Ilaiayaraaja's inclusion is certainly a valuable addition to the project.
