After The Death Of Sushant Singh Rajput, Kai Po Che Co-Star Amit Sadh Wanted To Leave Bollywood

Actor Sushant Singh Rajput was no less than an inspiration for budding actors after beginning his career on tv and making an impression on the audience with his performances on the big screen. However, many of his friends and admirers were devastated by his passing. Amit Sadh, his co-star in Kai Po Che, was one of them. He recently disclosed that he wanted to leave Bollywood after SSR's passing.

He was speaking with renowned Indian author Chetan Bhagat when he talked about this. Amit, who made his acting debut with Sushant in Kai Po Che, remembered how they had been friends with the late actor during the year and a half they spent making the movie. In the podcast, he also addressed Sushant's death.

He said, “I know the psyche of that person. When someone dies by suicide it means that there is complete darkness in their life. When this happens, it is not the person's fault, but it is society’s fault. The people who were around that person are the ones who are at fault because the person has become so hopeless at that point that he does not care about anything else... I have felt the same way before too when it seems that there is no one and that they have nothing.”

“Chid Gaya tha main. Bada tough hai yeh industry (I was feeling annoyed. This industry is very tough)”, Sadh said when the author prompted the Bollywood actor to go into further detail about his desire to leave show business.

Star Vivek Oberoi had previously remarked on the MS Dhoni actor's suicide and said he related to the deceased actor. Vivek said, "I wanted to end things," recalling situations in which he had dark and depressing ideas.

For those who are unaware, Sushant Singh Rajput died in June 2020. The CBI is still looking into his death. However, no closure report has yet been submitted in this case.
