Ahaana Krishna dropped from Prithviraj's Bhramam. This is why

Ahaana Krishna was initially approached to play a crucial role in Prithviraj Sukumaran's Bhramam. The film is an official remake of the Bollywood film Andhadhun starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Radhika Apte, and Tabu. Ahaana's father Krishna Kumar made an explosive statement saying that his daughter was dropped from the film after he joined BJP recently. Ahaana took to Instagram stories and wrote, "Just keep me away from it. I am not even in the picture, I have not blamed anyone. Some who spoke might be related to me, but it is always another person’s opinion. Don’t count me in. I have nothing to do with this drama. I have always declared that I’ve been a huge fan of Prithviraj from the early days. So don’t say anything otherwise, maddeningly."

Bhramam producers issued a statement and wrote, "It has come to our notice through the media that Ahaana was removed from some movies based on political stands. If the allegation has meant Bhramam which is produced by Open Book Productions, we strongly disagree with this. We had also told her not to reveal that she was being considered for the movie until a final decision was taken. Unfortunately, her name surfaced in some media." They added that the team conveyed to her that she was not part of the film.
