Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu is gearing up for a grand release on Pongal 2023. The film, directed by Vamsi Paidipally, will clash at the box office with Ajith Kumar's Thunivu. As the film gears up for a grand release, the UK rights of the film have been brought by Ahimsa Entertainment. In a statement, they confirmed the same and announced that they will release the film in Tamil and Telugu.
In a statement, Ahimsa Entertainment wrote, "As 2022 comes to an end, let's take a moment to reflect. We started Ahimsa Entertainment with a vision of distributing Indian films of all sizes overseas, and also with a goal of getting into production. n 6 months of launching, we've already distributed a variety of films. Our first distribution project was Beast, which became Vijay's highest-ever grosser in the USA. Now, we're on cloud nine once again. This time, we're bringing the highly awaited theatrical release of Varisu to the UK, in both Tamil and Telugu languages. Our journey so far has brought with it highs and lows. Some films worked for us, some didn't. However, what matters the most is that we're enjoying this rollercoaster rife and want to continue to entertain you all.
