Aishwarya Rai credited Mani Ratnam for being at the forefront of Indian cinema, the actress was speaking at a promotional event for Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
On September 30, "Ponniyin Selvan," a masterpiece, will release in theatres. The movie is an adaptation of the novel, which is an epic historical drama that took place in the ninth century AD. the movie stars Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai, and Trisha in the lead roles. The cast and actresses are on a promotional tour of India since the movie is now in production. The entire cast of the movie expressed their admiration for Mani Ratnam's enthusiasm and dedication while speaking at the event in Delhi on September 27. They stated they look up to him for inspiration and knowledge.
According to the lead actors and heroine, the filmmaker offers them a lot of room and opportunity to fully develop their characters. Aishwarya Rai, an actress, claimed that Mani Ratnam's movies have always been very distinctive and well-known.
