Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn began the year 2022 with a brief cameo in the Alia Bhatt film Gangubai Kathiawadi. He went on to make his web series debut this year, as well as have one of his career's biggest triumphs in the form of Drishyam 2, which has continued to smash the box office weeks after its release. Ajay had a very interesting year, based on the response he has received this year. Although his efforts amused the audience, his interactions with the media made many less-known facts about him publicly. Yes! Ajay Devgn admitted that he wants someone to recreate his 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante during the promotion of his most recent film, Drishyam 2. Everything started when he made an appearance on RJ Malishka's radio show on Red FM. During his chit-chat, the RJ inquired about which movie he thought could be remade.
“I would like somebody to remake Phool Aur Kaante”, he responded. Shriya Saran, his co-star from the film Drishyam, responded, “Yeah? Must be difficult to do that.” However, the RJ questioned him over his ability to perform the split, which he had already performed for his film's entry shot.
“I would need a little practice. In a month and a half, I can try to do it”, the De De Pyaar De actor said. Malishka and Shriya were shocked by his response.
For the uninitiated, Ajay performed a split on two bikes for his entry sequence in Phool Aur Kaante. Many people applauded him for it soon after the movie's debut, and it later came to be known as his signature entry shot in a few of his productions. But there was a twist in every entry. For instance, he used automobiles in the Golmaal series while riding horses in Son Of Sardaar.
