With the rising popularity of digital shows and movies, many Bollywood actors such as Abhishek Bachchan, Sushmita Sen, etc, have already made their mark in shows like Breathe and Aarya. The next one to explore digital space is none other than Ajay Devgn who recently announced his Disney+ Hotstar show Rudra: The Edge of Darkness. On Tuesday, the actor took to his social media handle to share the first look of his upcoming show.
The web series which is going to be a crime-thriller will see Ajay essay on the role of a cop. Sharing the first look, Devgn wrote, "Happy to announce the crime thriller of the year Hotstar Specials 'Rudra - The Edge Of Darkness'. This one’s going to be ‘killer." The show has been produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC India.
Earlier this year, Ajay Devgn's wife and actress Kajol had made her digital debut. Kajol played the lead actress in Netflix's film Tribhanga: Tedhi Medhi Crazy, which also starred Mithila Parker and Tanvi Azmi. It was a film directed by none other than Renuka Shahane. And now, Ajay Devgn is all set to step into the digital space with this upcoming show which the makers describe as 'intense' and one of the darkest shows so far.
