Ajith is now preparing for the release of his upcoming movie, "Thunivu." The film, which is being directed by H Vinoth, is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12, 2023. Manju Warrier plays the female lead in the movie. Thunivu is billed as a heist thriller and is based on the actual events of the Punjab bank robbery from the 1970s. While the movie is still in post-production, there is a new rumor that the producers want to give Ajith fans a gift by releasing the trailer on January 1.
According to reports, the movie's trailer will debut on December 31. The official announcement hasn't yet been made by the film's creators, though. Additionally, no date has been given for the release of the movie's teaser. The first track from the movie, "Chilla Chilla," was just released and has received more than 10 million views. It is anticipated that soon the second single from the movie will also be released. Ghibran wrote the music for the movie.
Ajith will undoubtedly have a big opening for Thunivu. Ghibran has disclosed that "Thunivu" will have three songs in total. One of which will serve as the opening theme and the other two of which will follow the plot of the movie.
In his 61st movie, Thunivu, Ajith will play a character with grey undertones in an action-thriller. Initially, there were rumours that the film will be released on Christmas this year. It is now official that Vijay's "Varisu" and Ajith's "Thunivu" will compete at the box office on Pongal next year.
