While Ayushmann Khurrana awaits the release of his next film, 'An Action Hero,' there is speculation that Akshay Kumar may also appear in the film. Akshay is said to have a cameo appearance in the movie. This will also be the first time Akshay and Ayushmann appear in a film together.
According to a source close to Bollywood Hungama, the film is named An Action Hero, and how can a movie with that title be made without the presence of Hindi Cinema's Original Action Hero - Akshay Kumar? Apparently, Akshay has already filmed for a key role in the film, which would shift Ayushmann's persona and outlook.
An Action Hero is directed by Aanand L Rai and stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a crucial role.
Meanwhile, Ayushmann was last featured in Anubhuti Kashyap's 'Doctor G,' alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Shefali Shah. Aside from 'An Action Hero,' Ayushmann has Dream Girl 2 alongside Ananya Panday, directed by Raaj Shaandilya.
Akshay will next be seen in OMG 2 - Oh My God! 2 with Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Arun Govil. He has also appeared in the Marathi film Veer Daudale Saat and Selfiee opposite Emraan Hashmi.
