Akshay Oberoi says that Bollywood is based on hierarchy

Actor in Junglee, Akshay Oberoi says that he is finally getting roles that have merit after being in the industry for over a decade.

The actor will now act in Subhash Kapoor directorial Madamji.
During an interview with a news publication, Akshay spoke about the political drama, “Subhash has been a political journalist, so any conversation with him is a learning experience. He is objective, and doesn’t project his affiliations on the script or the actor.”
Akshay compared Bollywood with politics, and stated how both are “based on hierarchy.”
The film also stars Richa Chadha and Saurabh Shukla.
Akshay has also signed for the Hindi remake of the south crime thriller Thiruttu Payale 2, in which he will portray a negative character. This Susi Ganeshan directorial stars Vineet Kumar Singh and Urvashi Rautela as well. Susi commented on the scenario saying, “Akshay fits the bill perfectly. He has a very interesting character in the film and has crucial scenes. I’m really happy that the casting process worked out smoothly, and I have a talented cast and crew working with me… Akshay’s scenes will get shot later this month. The script for the Hindi remake had reworked to appeal to the pan-India audience, but this subject is absolutely universal.”
