Akshaye Khanna on 'Section 375' taken to court claims the movie doesn't take a stand at all

Since the filmmakers released the trailer of Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer 'Section 375', it has been the people's gossip. The few dialogues and discussions from the trailer pulled the movie into dispute and consequently, prior to the launches of the movie on 13th September.

 
The Pune Civil Court called on male lead actor Akshaye Khanna and the producers to show up for a hearing on 9th September. The lawyer submitted a petition stating the court drama presented lawyers in a negative light.
 
Similarly, Akshaye has been approached by the media publication and that's what he has to say. He described how we live in a free country, and everyone has the right to express their views, and the movie's primary aim is to amuse and such sensitive topics are bound to increase a conversation or discussion.
 
Furthermore, Khanna also emphasized the fact that the movie does not take positions and only takes the public through a case and demonstrates distinct views of society, judges and attorneys. He also found that if a movie does not take a stand, the public is forced to express an opinion, and that is what the movie is doing.
 
The film is based on Indian Penal Code Section 375, and Akshaye Khanna plays a film director's defence attorney supposedly convicted of rape.
