Stylish Star Allu Arjun took a gap of more than one and a half years after the debacle of Naa Peru Suya Naa Illu India. Finally, he arrived with his latest film, Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, which had hit the screens on January 12th, during the Sankranthi festive weekend. Right from show one, the film manages to get a positive talk from the audience and emerged as a winner.
Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo also became the biggest hit in Allu Arjun's career within a few days. Now, after two weeks of its run, it has become the third-highest earner in Tollywood, after Baahubali 2 and Baahubali 1. Thus, Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo is now the Non-Baahubali industry hit in Tollywood.
The film's comedy, emotional quotient, superlative performances and especially the music, has made it a wholesome festival package for the viewers. Thus, the viewers declared it as a super success at the box office. In its two weeks run, Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo collected a gross of more than Rs. 213.5 crores and a share of Rs. 133 crores. We have to see how many more records will it set up by its final run. Directed by Trivikram, the film featured Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Allu Aravind and S. Radhakrishna have jointly produced it.
