Alia and Salman to lead Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Inshallah’
Bollywood actors Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt have confirmed that they would star in filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Inshallah’. This will the next film for the start director Bhansali’s which will be a bankrolled in partnership between Salman Khan Films and Bhansali Productions.
Bhansali Productions also confirmed the announcement through their official Twitter handle. "Finally all speculations and wait end as 2019 brings together #SLB, @BeingSalmanKhan, and @aliaa08 in his next film, #Inshallah. Wishing that this entire journey is filled with a lot of love and Inshallah, the team is blessed with hope and faith @SKFilmsOfficial @prerna982," read their tweet.
Alia took to Twitter to thank Bhansali on roping her into the project, “I was 9 when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It’s been a long wait,” posted Alia. “Dream with your eyes wide open they say & I did. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together & I can’t wait to join them on this beautiful journey called Inshallah,” she tweeted.
Salman tweeted, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to working with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey.” This film would be the reuniting of the actor and director after their hit Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam after two decades.
Speculation took rounds as Alia and Salman are seen at Bhansali’s Mumbai office recently. Abuzz is that Shah Rukh Khan also will play a cameo in the film which would be another feast to the fans after Tubelight and Zero. While Alia is busy shooting for Karan Johar’s period drama Kalank followed by Brahmastra. Salman will be seen Katrina in Bharat alongside Katrina.
