Yesterday, the Indian film industry has come together for a virtual concert called I for India. This concert got held in a home-home way, in partnership with Facebook. This was a fundraising event and all the money raised through this event will get donated to the COVID-19 relief measures. Many Bollywood celebrities have taken part in this event. Star actors like Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, and Hrithik Roshan have sung their favorite songs in this concert.
Alia participated in the concert along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt. Both of them thanked all the doctors and the other frontline workers who are working day and night during this pandemic time. They showed their solidarity to these warriors by singing songs Ikk Kudi and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi. Popular musician Ankur Tiwari has given them the music during this performance.
On the other side, Hunk hero Hrithik Roshan crooned one of his favorite songs, Tera Jaisa Yaar Kaha, from the film Yaarana. Apart from singing it, Hrithik also played the background music of the song with the keyboard. This keyboard singing performance of Hrithik remained as one of the best segments of the show. His War co-actor Tiger Shroff also showed his singing skills by crooning the song Teher Ja from the movie October.
I for India got hosted by popular filmmakers Karan Johar. Zoya Akhtar gave the introductory speech of it. Many Bollywood actors, musicians, and singers have participated in this concert. All the money raised through this concert will get donated through giving India platform.
