Manjari Fadnis who got to fame with Telugu films Siddhu from Srikakulam and K Viswanath's Subhaparadam did an International short film titled Megha’s Divorce.' Directed by Nila Madhab Panda, the film got premiered today at the IFFI film festival.
Manjari Fadnis is all excited to be a part of IFFI and she spoke about her film's screening at IFFI2019 and about how IFFI helps people gain access to Cinema from around the world.
"This is my first time at IFFI. It has been a wonderful association. My film just got screened here at IFFI in the 50th year which is a big honor for us." shared Manjari on the screening of the movie at IFFI 2019 edition.
Spilling the beans on the concept of the film, the actress said, "This is the film I did for the United Nations. The 11 short films, by 11 different directors from different countries. And all the films based on the environmental crisis and climate crisis that's going on right now. They are all very important films for everyone to watch. I am so glad that this is the Asia premiere and happening at IFFI."
Furthermore, she added, "I think it's a great platform for so much of meaningful cinema that audiences get to watch. I think it's a great platform for the filmmakers to showcase their out-of-the-box films."
