Kantara is a film that has caught the attention of many with its gritty visuals and narration. The village drama has crossed the collections of KGF in Kannada and is going great guns in the state of Karnataka. Back in Telugu, Allu Aravind released the film which has been enacted and directed by Rishab Shetty. With each passing day, the collections for this film are only growing to make all those connected with the film quite happy.
Everyone in the media is now of the opinion that Allu Aravind is making crores of money with this film. But the fact of the matter is that Allu Aravind has bought the film on a commission basis. That means, he should share the profits of the film with the original producers also.
If the ace producer would have bought the entire Telugu rights, he would have made four to five times of money. But he did not and bought it on an advance basis. The film has crossed twenty-three crores gross in Telugu and Allu Aravind will surely make money. But the ratio would be very less and now the news is that he is repenting of the decision made.
Generally, he is a very clever producer and bags films which are made on a small scale and have solid content. The only mistake he made was he did not watch the film and decided to release it on a commission basis as suggested by his aides. Well, what could have been a huge profit is now cut off for only a few crores. Kantara has been doing well in Hindi as well.
