It looks like the film industry is not going to recover soon from the damage made by the coronavirus pandemic. Even though the government started easing down the lockdown regulations, it still didn't give any permission for the film shoots in the Telugu states. Moreover, even the theaters are also shut, making the situation even worse. From the last few weeks, we are hearing that the shoots will begin in August. One of the big films which is gearing up to go on floors is Allu Arjun's Pushpa. Earlier, the makers planned to launch the shoot as soon as the lockdown gets over. But we now hear that Arjun wants to take no risk and suggested the producers to start shooting once the situation gets back to a normal state.
Even the government permits the shoots, it will come up with a set of rules. There should not be more than 50 people on the set, children below 12 years and the old aged people above 60 years are not permitted to the sets, under these rules. Pushpa is a pan-Indian project which needs a huge crew. There will also be a lot of junior artists every day on the sets. Thus, it becomes difficult for makers to shoot under these circumstances. Hence, Allu Arjun asked them not to take any risk.
The sources claim that the shoot of Pushpa will begin only when things get better. Directed by Sukumar, this film features Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead.
