The filmnagar reports reveal that Allu Arjun calls off an exciting project with Venu Sriram and Dil Raju for making his debut in Kollywood under the direction of a star filmmaker.

A few months back, producer Dil Raju announced his new project called Icon with Allu Arjun. Venu Sriram of MCA fame is the director of it. The makers announced that the filming will begin at the end of 2019. But according to the latest reports, this film got shelved.

The reasons for keeping it aside are still unknown, but Venu will now be remaking the Telugu remake of Hindi courtroom drama Pink. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun launched his new movie under the direction of Sukumar earlier today. The shoot of this film will go on floors in the last week of November.
Bunny's fans have put a lot of expectations on Icon as the combo of Bunny and Dil Raju has always delivered super hits at the box office. On the flip side, Bunny is now hearing out new scripts for his next film, which will go on floors after the Sukumar project.
A trending rumour in the industry is that director AR Murugadoss is showing interest in direct Allu Arjun in a Telugu-Tamil bilingual which will mark the actor's debut in Kollywood.
