Allu Arjun is currently high on the success of his recent film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo. Right now, he is prepping up to start the shooting of his next film Pushpa, which is being directed by Sukumar. A few months back, Allu Arjun announced a film called Icon. But due to some reasons, he decided to take Pushpa on the floors first. Thus, everyone thought that Icon got shelved. But the makers confirmed that the project is still on by releasing the poster of the film, on the occasion of Allu Arjun's birthday today.
Icon's production house, Sri Venkateshwara Creations tweeted, "Team #ICON wishes Stylish Star @alluarjuna Very Happy Birthday! #HappyBirthdayAlluArjun."
Icon will get produced by Dil Raju and directed by Sriram Venu. According to the sources, Allu Arjun decided to take Icon on floors once he finishes Pushpa. Meanwhile, Sriram Venu is currently working on his next directorial Vakeel Saab. Pawan Kalyan is playing the lead role in it. If everything falls in place, Icon will go on floors by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is celebrating his birthday under home quarantine. He was actually supposed to start shooting for Pushpa by now. But it got postponed due to the current lockdown. The first look poster of Pushpa got released earlier this morning. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead in this movie. Bunny will sport a full-bearded look in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for it and Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the project. Pushpa will hit the screens in early 2021.
