Of late, Telugu films have become an epitome for lavishness. Makers here shoot songs and action sequences in foreign locations. Sometimes, they also rope in foreign stunt masters to compose the fight sequences of our films. This has made a loss of employment opportunity to the local film labour. To help them, the makers of Pushpa have decided to shoot the entire movie in India and with a complete local team. Starring Allu Arjun in the lead role, this film is being directed by Sukumar.
According to the sources, Pushpa will be one of the rare films in these days which is going to become an entire 'Make In India' product. The makers hoped that this will create more opportunities for local laborers in the industry. Apparently, there will be a six-minute action sequence during the hero introduction scene, in the film. It seems that the makers are fetching Rs. 6 crores for this six-minute episode. This entire episode will get done with the Indian technicians. The shoot of this film will go on the floors once the lockdown gets over.
The story of Pushpa revolves around the red sandalwood smuggling in the Rayalaseema region. Allu Arjun will be speaking in the Chittoor dialect in this film. He is also getting trained for the same. The Desamuduru actor will play the role of a smuggler in the movie. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in it. Pushpa is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for it.
