After a short break, the team of Pushpa 2 is back on sets. The shooting for the movie is now under progress in a specially erected set for the film. The second movie is being made on a much larger scale than the original, owing to the first film's grand success across the whole of India. Pushpa managed to give Allu Arjun pan-Indian fame, and the actor is said to be intent on delivering on that image with the second film.
With the second film, the makers are attempting to break through the international market, and are said to be including international elements in the film as a result. To make the film much bigger, more characters have been added to the film, and Jagapathi Babu is one of the actors to join the film. There's no clarity over what kind of character he would be playing. This has created a lot of interest on the film.
Initially, it was expected that Rashmika Mandanna's character, Srivalli, would have a larger role to play in the second film. With the film now being made on a wider scale, in order for it to appeal to a larger audience, Rashmika's screen time has reportedly been reduced. Allu Arjun is said to get a massive amount of screentime in the second part.
Apart from that, Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil will be seen as the primary antagonist of the film. The makers are also in talks with top actresses for a special song for the movie.
