Amala Paul In, Kajal Aggarwal Out Of Nagarjuna's Upcoming Film The Ghost

Kajal Aggarwal has over half a dozen films in the pipeline. Earlier this year, we had reported that she has been roped in to play the female lead in Nagarjuna's upcoming film titled The Ghost. However, for the past few weeks, there have been rumors doing the rounds that Kajal is pregnant. Neither Kajal nor her husband Gautam Kitchlu opened up about the pregnancy. Also, it was revealed that Kajal opted out of The Ghost since she is expecting her first child. She had asked the makers of Acharya to wrap up the film's shooting soon. Now, instead of Kajal Aggarwal, Amala Paul has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.

A source close to the team told The New Indian Express, "Kajal Aggarwal and her husband Gautam Kitchlu are expecting their first child. Hence she has taken a break from film shootings and has informed the makers of The Ghost of her unavailability. The makers have signed on Amala Paul to fill in her shoes and she is expected to join the team in November. Praveen is determined to wrap up the entire shooting by December and move on to his next film starring Varun Tej." The shooting of The Ghost is progressing at a brisk pace at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. The film shows Nagarjuna as an ex=RAW agent based in London.
