Amala Paul made headlines when she starred in director Rathnakumar's Aadai. The film turned out to be an eye-opener as well controversial as the actress had to appear nude for about 40 minutes in the film. Now, the actress is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Adho Andha Paravai Pola.
 
Earlier, reports revealed that Amala Paul had chosen to play one of the pivotal roles in Mani Ratnam's big-budget flick, Ponniyin Selvan. However, the latest news suggests that the actress had walked out due to unknown reasons. Sources close to the actress revealed that Amala waited for a long time for this film to begin, but it got postponed multiple times. Hence, she conveyed her decision to Mani Ratnam and walked out. Ponniyin Selvan, which is getting made on a huge budget, will go on floors in Thailand in the second week of December. Mani Ratnam is currently in Thailand to finalize locations for the shoot. The film bases on the novel of the same name written by Kalki Krishnamoorthy.
