After two blockbusters like 'Theri' and 'Mersal', Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay and ace director Atlee's combination repeated for the third time with 'Bigil' movie which recently got released on October 25th.
Lady Superstar Nayanthara played the leading lady in this movie. Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Varsha Bollamma, and Indhuja Ravichandran played pivotal roles in this movie. As expected, the movie has been making big numbers at the box office. On an interesting note, 'Bigil' has outpaced 'Baahubali 2' to become the All-Time Highest Share in Tamil Nadu Cinema History. The movie has become an industry hit. The fans are super happy with the news. Though the film also got released in Telugu as 'Whistle', it has failed to score big at the box office. However, the movie has been doing wonders in Kollywood.
Archana Kalapathi, under AGR Entertainments banner, bankrolled this project. 'Bigil' is an AR Rahman's musical.
On the other side, the news is coming out that director Atlee Kumar will soon make his debut as a director in the Bollywood movie industry. Most likely, his new movie will star Shah Rukh Khan as the lead. The talks are presently happening and more details will come out soon.
