From October 8 to November 11 a retrospective and exhibition titled "Bachchan: Back to the Beginning" is being staged in 18 cities. In his long career in the cinema industry, Amitabh Bachchan has won numerous honours and awards. He received the Padma Shri award from the Indian government in 1984 and the Padma Bhushan in 2001. He received the Padma Vibhushan in 2015. He received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2018. He has received a number of prizes at international film festivals. He has won five National Film Awards and 15 Filmfare Awards. Amitabh Bachchan made his Bollywood debut in 1969 with "Saat Hindustani" He was last seen in the films "Brahmastra" and "Goodbye". He will soon appear in "Uunchai" and "Project K".
