Amitabh Bachchan tests negative for COVID-19 and has been discharged from the hospital; Read on

After remaining in the hospital for several days, Amitabh Bachchan has been discharged from Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai as his reports come negative. On Sunday, the actor took to his social media handle to announce the happy news with his fans. He wrote, "T 3613 - I have tested CoVid- have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. The grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma Babuji, prayers & duas of near & dear & friends fans EF .. and the excellent care and nursing at Nanavati made it possible for me to see this day."

The news of his father getting discharged from the hospital was also shared by Abhishek Bachchan as he still remains thereafter his report had come positive. Abhishek tweeted, "My father, thankfully, has tested negative on his latest Covid-19 test and has been discharged from the hospital. He will now be at home and rest. Thank you all for all your prayers and wishes for him." The Breathe actor further updated about his own health and wrote, "I, Unfortunately, due to some comorbidities remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital. Again, thank you all for your continued wishes and prayers for my family. Very humbled and indebted. I’ll beat this and come back healthier! Promise." A week back, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Aaradhya had tested negative. They are currently home quarantining in their house in Mumbai.
