Ananya Panday shared in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama that the one thing she wants Vijay Deverakonda fans to know is that he is really hilarious.
Ananya Panday makes her pan India film debut with Liger. The actress will appear onscreen alongside Vijay Deverakonda, a famous South Indian actor. While their chemistry and off-screen friendship were already evident on the set of Koffee With Karan 7, we also saw the on-screen duo courting viewers during the movie's promotions. Ananya expressed her admiration for her co-star and revealed what Vijay's fans should know about him in an interview.
Ananya Panday paused for a moment during the interview when she was asked what one thing Vijay Deverakonda fans should know more about. He is pretty humorous, she said after a brief pause. The actress affirmed, “He is very funny. He has a very wicked and dark sense of humour”. His humor was evident at Koffee With Karan 7 and we caught a glimpse of his charm and sharp wit.
For his depiction of the possessive, alcoholic Arjun Reddy, which also starred Shalini Pandey, Vijay Deverakonda achieved enormous fame. Later, the film was recreated in several languages, including Hindi, with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani reprising their roles as Kabir Singh. With the Karan Johar production Liger, the actor—who also seems to be the talk of B-town for his enormous sex appeal—will now make his significant Bollywood debut.
Speaking of Liger, the movie also stars Ananya Panday and is directed by acclaimed South Asian director Puri Jagannadh. Along with the American boxing legend Mike Tyson, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Vishu Reddy play significant parts in this action comedy. Ramya will play the mother of the boxer played by Vijay in the film. The movie will debut on August 25 in a variety of languages, including Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil.
