Previously, she criticised Vijay Deverakonda's blockbuster film 'Arjun Reddy,' claiming that it contains abusive dialogue toward women.

Following that, a war of words erupted between actor Anasuya and the 'Arjun Reddy' team, in which she firmly stated that it is never cool to abuse mothers, or any women for that matter, and chastised Vijay Deverakonda's character in not only the film, but also him for publicly making his fans repeat the cuss word during the pre-release event. She even took part in live debates on various TV channels, arguing against the movie team's arrogance. With the release of Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' and the film receiving negative reviews, the lovely actress has taken to social media to express her thoughts, saying, "The mother's pain will not go waste. While some on social media attribute her tweet to Vijay Deverakonda, others have asked her to be more specific.
