In response, Anasuya tweeted, "Hello!! Adi “item” song kadu..asalu “item” song anedi edi ledamma..oka paata ki unna cast kakunda special ga evaranna kavali anukunnappudu “special” song ostundi. Okappudu ammai ni vastuvu la treat chesevallu ichina peru adi. And aa Lyrics valle nenu ee special song oppukunnanu." She opines that there is no such thing as "item" song and this particular terms is used by the people who objectify women. "The lyrics are the reason why I agreed to feature in the song," she adds.
Anasuya went on to say that honest people on social media who really have genuine doubts about her should directly interact with her and she would be glad to answer them.
