Anasuya talks about her role in Pushpa

Popular television host and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj is playing a key role in Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa. This news was unveiled by the actress herself when she took to Instagram to share a photograph of the clapboard and wrote, “#GoodDaysAhead #HappyToBeBackAgain #Gratitude @aryasukku @alluarjunonline @mythriofficial Let’s get ‘ em all again.” It has been two weeks since she posted this and due to the second wave of COVID-19, the shoot of the film has been stalled.

Talking to a popular news portal, the actress said, “ I can’t reveal much about the film or my role in it. But I can definitely say that it will pack a punch with the audience and be as impactful as the one in Rangasthalam. I am thankful to Sukumar sir for placing trust in me with yet another solid role.” Pushpa revolves around the smuggling of red sandalwood in the hills of Andhra Pradesh and the lives of those interwoven with the illegal trade. Starring Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil as the antagonist and Rashmika Mandanna as the leading lady, the Sukumar directorial has Kannada actor Dhananjay, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Harish Uthaman, Vennela Kishore, and Anish Kuruvilla essaying crucial roles.
