has revealed new things about the late actor. Ankita recently revealed that filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali offered many films to Sushant and was always very supportive. Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in Bandra's home on June 14 after he committed suicide. Many big shots from Bollywood have given their statements to the Mumbai police regarding the famous actor’s death. This includes the likes of Kangana Ranaut
, Shekhar Suman, Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt
, and Karan Johar.
Ankita, in an interview to Times Now, said, “Adi sir really supported him. Whenever he used to have a problem and he called Adi sir, he used to immediately call him back and ask him to meet him. Then Sushant used to go and meet him directly. If Sushant called him, he would immediately talk to him.”
Ankita, however, refused to comment on Karan Johar’s professional relationship with her late ex boyfriend. She said, “Agar mujhe pata hi nahi hai Karan Johar ke saath kya deal hui (I don’t know about the deal with Karan Johar), I have no idea about it but yes Aditya Chopra, Ekta Kapoor, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali... I have seen that. They were all very supportive.”
Ankita also clarified that her relationship with Sushant was always great and he was never mistreated during the relationship. Ankita said that Sushant chose not to take up the roles that Bhansali offered him but the filmmaker was always supportive.
